Operation School Bell

• Marking it's 26th year, Operation School Bell opened its doors on August 20, 2009 with a goal of providing new school clothes and supplies to 2,835 children over the course of the next few months. By the end of November, more than 32,000 children will have benefited from this program. [More information]
• Rowdy, mascot of the Indianapolis Indians, gave more than batting lessons during his recent visiting Operation School Bell. 

• Students from the Metropolitan School Districts of Lawrence, Pike, and Washington were the first group to receive new sneakers and socks on October 14 and 16 as the Shoes program begins the 10th year. [More information]
• Shoe Carnival store in Castleton staged the first. Due to the generosity of the Robert Moeder Family (shoes) and Kroger Central Division(socks), more than 300 students attending IPS 346- Daniel Webster Elementary School will be receiving new sneakers and socks on December 4th.  [More information]

Assault Survivor Kits

• This program has expanded as the need increases with the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault on the rise. Two additional hospitals have been added this year, bring the total to 18 hospitals and crisis centers that are now receiving kits.  [More information]
